Very large face size due to the special cut which allows the gem to be brilliant but still shallow. That means that you get an even larger looking gem for your money and can also set it very low in a ring so it doesn't snag on things when worn which is handy, especially for an engagement ring! As is the case with most natural white sapphires this will have a tiny hint of color in some kinds of light, possibly slightly greenish or purplish depending on the kind of light.
